☂ a scrappy little group ride, born in the rain ☂
This is a group ride in the Tacoma area that is going to start up in the best weather of the year. We ride rain or shine. A helmet and a front + back light are required. We normally ride around 12-14 mph on the flats, and the route will be posted here before departure. Ideally, you have some fenders on your bike, and maybe a buddy flag down there on the bottom of your rear fender. We like the rain, but we don't like sucking up road grit from the tire in front.
New here? Just show up. That's the whole process.
Bring whatever bike that you have. The thicker the tires, the more fun that you will have. More than likely, we will involve some hike-a-bike at some point, but that is irrelevant to your bike.
Be respectful; any type of hate is not welcome on this ride. If you plan to be mean, please do us a favor and do not join us.
Easy 12-mile loop, mostly flat, one hill we all complain about. Regroup at the top every time. Coffee after at whatever's open.
